Pro Loco support: Region ties funding to projects and registration

The official guide cites law 54/2025: public calls fund culture and local identity.

Regional support for Tuscan Pro Loco associations depends on projects and participation in public calls, rather than an automatic grant simply because an association exists. The Region’s official page, updated on 18 March 2026, makes this clear, citing Article 3 of regional law 54/2025. Pro Loco associations entered in the regional register can participate in the procedures. Activities listed include protecting community traditions, cultural events linked to local identities, knowledge of heritage and residents’ participation in cultural life. For organisers of village festivals and events, the framework thus distinguishes an initiative’s value from the administrative process needed to compete for funding. The guide does not announce funding awarded to a particular festival, or by itself set a new deadline: conditions, amounts and reporting requirements depend on the implementing calls. The focus remains on the cultural and local function of projects submitted by associations.
