Artea’s 2025 accounts approved: payments exceed €579 million

Twenty-two votes in favour. Forza Italia questions management and funded programmes.

Artea’s 2025 accounts received Regional Council approval with 22 votes in favour, four against and three abstentions. Economic Development Committee chair Brenda Barnini highlighted payments exceeding €579 million, described as the highest since the agency was established. The accounts show a profit of around €15,000. In the debate, Marco Stella of Forza Italia challenged aspects of management under the commissioner and sought clarification of the agency’s role in funding programmes such as Libri Gratis. The opposition’s observations appear in the institutional record alongside the figures presented by the majority.
