Giani sets out nine strands for reindustrialisation; Tomasi seeks measurable effects

Funding calls, resources and simplification reach the chamber. The opposition stresses coordination.

President Eugenio Giani outlined nine areas of action in response to Alessandro Tomasi’s question on reindustrialisation. Measures mentioned included €21.2 million for productive investment programmes, €21 million for digital business and €15 million for small and medium-sized enterprises’ internationalisation. Giani also cited supply chains, tourism, venture capital and neighbourhood commerce, alongside legislative simplification. Tomasi called for a strategy capable of creating added value and concrete results for businesses, crafts and exports. The resources listed are those reported by the executive during the council debate.
