Taviano: plans for a charitable clinic offering free appointments

The health authority and Società della salute prepare premises and a management procedure.

A charitable clinic offering free specialist services is planned within Taviano’s health and social care premises in Sambuca Pistoiese. The decision was shared by the Region, Asl Toscana centro, the council and Società della salute Zona Pistoiese. According to Toscana Notizie, the health authority will provide the premises and begin adaptations, while Società della salute will prepare an invitation for expressions of interest from associations and third-sector organisations. The initiative responds to access difficulties in a mountainous area with scattered settlements and an older population. The announcement describes a service in preparation, rather than a clinic already open.
