Quarrata: €1.2 million in regional funding to digitise files and archives

The project covers more than one million council records.

Digitisation of Quarrata’s municipal archive was the focus of a meeting at Villa La Magia with regional president Eugenio Giani and mayor Romiti. Toscana Notizie reports regional support of €1.2 million for more than one million files and records. The project covers historical material as well as documentation connected with administrative activity. The funding therefore links preservation of memory with modernisation of council offices. The announcement explains the scale and purpose of the scheme, without presenting digitisation of the entire collection concerned as already complete.
