Siena’s international promotion will again use the 10 Comuni network of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Nice, Sophia Antipolis and the Côte d’Azur. On 20 October, the cabinet approved participation in the 2027 edition, choosing the Complete Institutional Presence package. The council describes the initiative as an ongoing connection between Italian and French administrations, providing opportunities to discuss tourism and local promotion. Proposed by councillor Barbara Magi, the decision therefore concerns investment in institutional and promotional relationships. Economic benefits remain stated objectives: the announcement reports neither completed commercial contracts nor measured increases in visitor numbers.
