Siena extends operational planning provisions to 2032
The resolution passes with 17 votes in favour and six against.
Siena city council has extended the validity of the current operational plan’s five-year planning provisions until 28 January 2032. Deputy mayor Michele Capitani presented the proposal, which received seventeen votes in favour and six against. According to the administration, the aim is to maintain continuity in planning and allow previously envisaged projects to be completed. Extending planning provisions must be distinguished from granting new building permissions: individual projects will still follow their respective procedures.
