Civil weddings: Villa Torre Fiorentina joins the list of approved venues

The cabinet expands the selection of locations outside the town hall.

Siena is expanding the venues available for civil weddings. At its meeting on 20 October, the cabinet authorised use of Villa Torre Fiorentina, a private property at Via Fiorentina 45, on the proposal of councillor Vanna Giunti. The council statement specifies that the owners’ application was examined by departments, including compliance with planning and land registry requirements. The measure forms part of cooperation with private organisations to promote local buildings and offer couples new options. The authorisation adds a venue to the council’s list; it neither changes the ceremony’s civil status nor replaces the formalities required to conduct it.
