Siena’s energy community has taken another organisational step. According to the council’s statement of 27 October, Mayor Nicoletta Fabio appointed Giulio Aucone, Alessandro Piccini and Laura Pieri to the board of directors. Massimo Dominijanni, Stefano Guerrini and Anna Masi were selected as auditors, with Maurizio Maraglino Misciagna and Francesco Miluccio as alternates. The appointments follow public procedures launched in July. Councillor Barbara Magi presents them as progress towards making the energy community operational, promoting the production and sharing of renewable energy among local participants.
