Follonica council highlighted the opening of applications for Nidi Gratis 2026–2027, from 4 to 26 June 2026. Funded by the European Social Fund Plus, the regional scheme is aimed at families with an ISEE household means assessment of up to €40,000. The local services listed are Le Mimose, Brucomela, Il cucciolo d’oro and Cipì. A place must be available and actually allocated; the application must be made by the parent or guardian who submitted and obtained the ISEE. Conditions and the application system are published on the Region’s portal. This report retains its original date and concerns that now-closed window; it does not suggest applications can still be made under the same deadlines.
