Council olive groves: residents invited to help harvest and maintain trees

Seven sites and around 620 trees are covered by the collaboration notice.

Follonica council opened applications for residents to harvest olives and carry out routine maintenance in seven public olive groves. The sites, from Campi Alti to San Luigi and the Peep housing areas, contain around 620 trees. Each applicant may state up to three preferences; allocation follows a ranking based on the notice’s criteria. Olives are for personal consumption only, and the signatory must carry out the harvest directly using their own safety equipment. The deadline was noon on 15 October 2026. The agreement covers one olive-growing season: this report describes that procedure and is not a new invitation to apply.
