Province visits Brussels to discuss policies for inland areas

Limatola, Pieraccini and Maule join EU Regions Week.

Grosseto province is taking part in EU Regions Week 2026 with a delegation led by Francesco Limatola, also attending as UPI Toscana president. It includes European policy councillor Cinzia Pieraccini and councillor Mattia Maule. The programme reported by the authority covers meetings on cohesion, sustainable development and opportunities for inland areas, as well as discussions with the Tuscany region’s offices at the European institutions. The mission is presented as a chance to build relationships and explore programming. The statement announces no grants already allocated to the province: attending meetings is separate from securing funding approval.
