Applications open for the provincial Equal Opportunities Commission

The notice includes civil society and secondary school students aged sixteen and over.

The province has opened applications to renew its Equal Opportunities Commission, an advisory and proposal-making body tackling discrimination. The notice allows up to ten additional members alongside ex officio members and institutional representatives. Secondary school students aged sixteen or over may also apply; specific prior professional experience is not required. Councillor Cinzia Pieraccini links this opening to involving younger generations. The announced deadline is noon on 9 November 2026, with applications and CVs submitted using the official form. Membership and selection remain governed by the regulations and notice available through the source: applying does not confer automatic membership.
