Grosseto province has nominated Annalisa Santucci as a full member of the technical and scientific committee of the Orbetello lagoon management consortium. Grosseto biologist Laura Cutini has been named as her alternate. Santucci is professor of biochemistry at the University of Siena and heads the ONE-HEALTH laboratory. President Francesco Limatola presents the choice as a contribution of scientific expertise to protecting the lagoon environment.
