Tyrrhenian corridor: institutions and business groups prepare a protest

A meeting convened by the province and chamber of commerce announces a demonstration in Capalbio.

Grosseto province and the Maremma and Tyrrhenian Chamber of Commerce brought mayors, unions and trade associations together at Palazzo Aldobrandeschi to discuss completing the Tyrrhenian corridor. They agreed a demonstration in Capalbio on 17 April, a motion to put before local councils and a mayors’ assembly alongside an open provincial council meeting. Francesco Limatola and Riccardo Breda call on the government to provide resources and unblock the infrastructure project, citing problems on the Aurelia. The report concerns initiatives agreed locally: the statement contains neither new government funding nor an approved timetable for completing the road.
