Provincial budget amendment allocates €3.47 million to schools and roads

The council directs part of its accumulated surplus towards new investment.

Grosseto provincial council has approved an amendment using €3.472 million of accumulated administrative surplus. Announced allocations include €901,000 for fire safety upgrades at Follonica’s upper secondary school, with €300,000 of regional co-funding, and €250,000 to complete the Rosmini gym. Another €180,000 concerns traffic arrangements at the Cittadella dello Studente. Resources are also allocated to the Campagnatico and Monte Amiata provincial roads, signs and barriers. President Limatola stresses priority for the authority’s core responsibilities. The council decision authorises funding: the actual status of individual works requires the relevant implementation documents.
