Provincial budget reduces borrowing costs and allocates infrastructure funds

Palazzo Aldobrandeschi approves its forecast for the next three years.

Grosseto province has announced approval of its budget for the new three-year period. President Francesco Limatola attributes increased spending capacity to repaying 63 loans worth €4.5 million and buying the Arcidosso boarding facility, previously rented. The statement puts annual current resources released by loan repayment at around €230,000 and rent savings at €78,000. It identifies ministry funding for bridges and viaducts of €8.9 million in 2026 and €9.1 million in each of the following two years. The Cosap exemption for driveway access is confirmed. These are forecasts and budget decisions, not completed works.
