The 2026–2028 measure passes with 19 votes in favour and 12 against.

Prato city council has approved a €24.8 million amendment to its 2026–2028 budget. According to the administration, this is divided between €10.9 million of current spending and €13.9 million of investment. The vote was nineteen in favour and twelve against. Uses include public housing, maintenance, schools, green spaces and roads. Given the measure’s complexity, the most useful scrutiny will concern the actual allocation of resources to projects and subsequent reporting.
