School buses: seventy complaints in Pistoia area prompt dispute over checks

Boni cites regional monitoring; Capecchi seeks tighter instructions for the operator.

Disruption affecting buses used by students in the Pistoia area reached the council through a question from Alessandro Capecchi and Vittorio Fantozzi of Fratelli d’Italia. Regional minister Filippo Boni reported seventy complaints concentrated on certain routes and described monthly checks and contractual penalties. His response attributed some problems to provisional school timetables at the start of the academic year. Capecchi instead stressed overcrowded vehicles and students left behind, calling for stronger checks and more binding instructions to Autolinee Toscane. The record reports the executive’s explanations alongside the opposition’s objections.
