Suvignano: fees and management debated, with social purpose reaffirmed

Marras answers Tucci on the confiscated estate, distinguishing social accommodation from agritourism.

Management of the Suvignano estate at Monteroni d’Arbia, confiscated from organised crime, was the subject of a question from Enrico Tucci. Regional minister Leonardo Marras explained the separation between spaces for legality education and social accommodation and those for the company’s farming and agritourism activities. He reported the opening of Agriturismo Young, with 24 authorised places, and reduced rates for associations, schools and the third sector. Marras reiterated that the social and educational function must remain predominant. Tucci of Fratelli d’Italia agreed with this priority, emphasising the care required in using confiscated assets.
