The Regional Council has unanimously appointed the three members of the Authority for the Guarantee and Promotion of Participation. The 32 votes in favour confirmed Paolo Solimeno, Antonio Olmi and Annick Magnier. The proposal was presented by Institutional Affairs Committee chair Vittorio Salotti of Casa Riformista. The official record notes that the body serves for five years. The committee had interviewed candidates and unanimously endorsed the proposal while respecting gender parity. The choice therefore also secured cross-party agreement in the chamber, without votes against.
