Palazzo Mediceo: €400,000 for safety and building systems

The regional agreement with Seravezza for improvements to the historic building has been approved.

The Palazzo Mediceo in Seravezza is receiving a regional contribution of €400,000 for safety improvements. The decree signed by President Giani approves the programme agreement with the council. Toscana Notizie lists building and systems work covering fire protection, alarms, lighting and emergency detection, subject to the historic building’s conservation requirements. The palace hosts council exhibitions and cultural events: the funding is intended to improve conditions for its use. The announcement concerns approval of the agreement and the purpose of the work; it does not certify that all the improvements have already been carried out.
