Toremar: workers mobilise as Region responds on tender timetable

Boni promises discussions with unions once the assessment process concludes.

Filt Cgil has announced a state of industrial unrest among Toremar workers over a requested meeting with the Region that has not taken place. Councillor Filippo Boni responded by letter, linking the delay to the timetable for procuring the maritime territorial continuity service. According to Toscana Notizie’s account, the tender is at the award stage and the Region intends to open discussions once the contract is settled. Job security and the quality of connections with the archipelago remain central. The report documents the department’s position and the union protest, without announcing an agreement already reached between the parties.
