Contemporary dance programming in Prato and Pistoia will follow a shared pathway over 2026–2028. The Toscana in Danza project is promoted by the Politeama Pratese and Teatri di Pistoia foundations, with total regional support of €220,000. Presenting it, councillor Cristina Manetti set out the goal of establishing dance more consistently in theatres and broadening audiences. The institutional account describes a pilot collaboration potentially open to other organisations in future. Its focus is continuity in cultural provision, beyond funding individual performances.
