Crowded Florence–Siena buses: Boni responds to FdI reports

The Region asks Autolinee Toscane for proposals and confirms service monitoring.

Overcrowding on Florence–Siena buses has entered the regional political debate. Councillor Filippo Boni responded to reports from Fratelli d’Italia councillors Gemelli and Tucci, describing requests already made to Autolinee Toscane. In the regional account, the operator links difficulties over the previous two weeks to an unexpected increase in passengers and traffic caused by events in Florence. The company says it complied with permitted capacities and also ran additional services: this is its account, as reported by the Region. Boni announces checks on the data and possible timetable changes.
