Siena’s early-years services are preparing to participate in the regional Nidi Gratis scheme. On 13 March, the council published a call for accredited private services in the municipality for the 2026–2027 educational year. Operators were asked to submit an application and unilateral undertaking by certified email by 10 April. The regional measure aims to reduce fees and help families access services for children aged under three. The procedure described concerns participation by providers and is separate from parents applying for support. The deadline is historical and is not presented as still open.
