Public housing: Siena begins revising its ranking after Constitutional Court ruling

The council removes points linked to the length of local residence or employment.

Siena’s public housing ranking is being reworked following the Constitutional Court ruling cited by the council. On 4 May, the administration announced an administrative review of the ranking approved in December 2024. The Housing Policies service recalculated scores, removing points awarded for continuous residence or employment in the area, in line with changes to the municipal regulations. Applicants are identified by unique codes to protect their privacy. The source describes the start and mechanism of the reform: the revised ranking is intended to replace the previous one when the procedure is completed.
