Road surface maintenance on Viale Cavour returned to the works schedule after the postponement of a project originally planned for March. In its notice of 23 October, Siena council announced work from 26 to 30 October, between 9am and 6pm, unless completed earlier. The section between Piazza Amendola and the Palazzo ai Diavoli roundabout becomes one-way from Porta Camollia towards Palazzo ai Diavoli. The administration cites the safety of the road surface, considering repairs no longer deferrable. The reported restrictions apply to that construction period, rather than a permanent traffic change.
