Campi Alti: new playground requested by residents is ready

The council announces a 30 June opening and further improvements in stages.

Follonica council announced the opening of a new playground in the Campi Alti neighbourhood on 30 June. The project follows families’ requests and meetings that began in late 2025. Mayor Matteo Buoncristiani and councillor Sandro Marrini report site visits to identify the location and initial work on trees and lighting. The space is intended for play, resting and meeting neighbours, with benches and greenery. The administration presents it as a first step, to be improved gradually in response to the neighbourhood’s needs. The statement describes the work and the planned opening without specifying the overall cost.
