Digital nomads: NOMAG research separates mobility from temporary residence
The sample comes from the publication’s international audience.
Research announced by NOMAG distinguishes frequent movers from people seeking a stable base for several months. Its 25 August statement reports 1,056 responses and 981 completed main questionnaires, following invitations to 1,500 non-Italian audience members. Some 48% preferred a principal base; 66.8% indicated stays of one to three months. These are findings from the surveyed sample, not representative percentages for all digital nomads.
For Tuscan destinations, the question also concerns homes, services and transport outside the holiday season. The NOMAG Research book is presented as a way to discuss these needs; it does not automatically establish new permanent residents or local economic benefits.
