Autism plan: Monni aims for year-end, Fratelli d’Italia seeks firm timetable

The debate also covers the consultative body’s spokesperson and associations’ participation.

The regional autism implementation plan returned to the council through a question from Jacopo Cellai and Chiara La Porta of Fratelli d’Italia. Regional minister Monia Monni said the aim was to put it before the executive by the end of 2026, explaining that she had expanded the technical group and begun reviewing resources. On the consultative body’s spokesperson, Monni specified that Andrea Laurenzi had been elected by associations, rather than appointed by her department. Cellai sought guarantees on timing, defined resources and a committee update. The council discussion therefore concerns a process still in preparation.
