Guinzone flood project reaches council: Minucci presses on timing

Giani announces that detailed design approval is close and explains the request for an extension.

Approval of the detailed design for flood-management work on the Guinzone at Orbetello was the subject of a question from Luca Minucci, a Fratelli d’Italia councillor. The question concerned compliance with the June 2026 deadline and any reasons for delay. President Eugenio Giani announced approval shortly, linking the extension to non-standard modelling. He also referred to problems at the Anas construction site in the Albinia area. Minucci criticised the timing of the administrative response and the project’s approach. The debate reported by the council does not yet document final approval of the design.
