Vicopisano: €210,000 in regional funding to renew public lighting

The agreement covers energy efficiency and permissions for heritage areas.

The regional executive has approved a €210,000 contribution to Vicopisano to modernise public lighting. Toscana Notizie reports an allocation of €39,190 in 2026 and €170,810 in 2027. The programme agreement with the council governs the stages through to activation, linking reduced consumption, safety and enhancement of the urban heritage. Work affecting monuments requires the relevant landscape and heritage authority permissions. This is a regionally funded improvement programme, rather than an account of savings already achieved or a lighting system presented as entirely renewed.
