Magna Closures: Guasticce meeting ahead of November talks

The Region, new managers and worker representatives discuss continuity of the industrial process.

The future of Magna Closures returned to the agenda at a meeting at its Guasticce plant, in Collesalvetti. Regional adviser Valerio Fabiani met management, Confindustria and workplace union representatives ahead of a plenary session expected in November. According to the regional statement, the site specialises in car locks and closing systems and employs around 500 people, in addition to supply-chain jobs. The meeting follows a union request to reopen talks after changes in senior management. Toscana Notizie recalls the three-year protocol signed in January by the Ministry, Region, municipalities and company.
