The regional executive has approved an addition to its agreement with San Giovanni Valdarno to complete the Arno cycle path. A further €300,000 supplements the original resources after a conflict between the route and a Snam pipeline emerged during the interagency planning conference. The initial project was worth €560,000, largely funded by the Region. The revised solution also includes an equipped area for cyclists and new tree planting. In the institutional account, councillor Filippo Boni sets the end of 2028 as the target for completing works: the new allocation therefore also changes the timetable.
