Ludus returns to schools as the council confirms theatre education

Workshops cover different age groups from nursery to upper secondary in 2026–2027.

Theatre education remains part of Siena council’s educational programme. On 22 September, the executive approved the continuation of Ludus for the 2026–2027 school year, within the Teatri di Siena season. The Cultural Policies service is tasked with gathering expressions of availability from local associations to run workshops in schools. The project provides four pathways for different school age groups, from nursery to upper secondary. For the youngest children, activities start with natural elements and relationships with others. The council decision ensures continuity for the programme, while the source does not provide final figures for participating schools.
