Fontebranda: staff and information to prevent queues at Santa Caterina

The council and Sigerico plan to manage access when the car park is full.

Queues outside the Santa Caterina car park have prompted the council and Sigerico to reorganise access controls in via Esterna Fontebranda. The plan announced on 8 October provides for staff to ask motorists to continue on their way when the car park is full, admitting season-ticket holders only. For the high season, from 25 March to 31 October, the weekday period indicated is 10am–2pm. In October, a specific presence was announced for Wednesdays 14, 21 and 28, with staff called out as needed on other weekdays. These are traffic-management arrangements for the period described by the source, rather than an increase in parking capacity.
